I think he's spot on - and is that a big part of collectivistic philosophy's appeal, in an age where we have all but abandoned individual responsibility? Like the woman who spilled her MacDonald's coffee on her lap and burned herself and sued MacDonald's....puhleeeze. Or society that wants to be free from the fetters of morality, free to do what feels good without the morning after....choices without consequences.
